Elaine Eastwood Profile
I have worked at the university since 1993 undertaking differing roles within the School of Computing and Mathematics then within the School of Computing and Engineering, following the merge between the two schools, and currently part time within both the School of Education and Professional Development as well as part of the admin team in Staff Development. I am also the branch contact for the Association of University Administrators (AUA) to increase awareness of the professional body and to disseminate information to both members and potential members.
Individuals have the right to fairness and to be treated empathetically with dignity and respect without suffering discrimination for their contribution to their working environment and each individual should be given the opportunity to develop and progress to their full capability.
Please contact me if you would like to discuss your particular working situation, I can provide a listening ear and will support you in any way I can.
Trine Powell Profile
My name is Trine Powell and I manage the Guidance team in the School of Computing and Engineering.
I support students with personal and academic related issues affecting their studies by providing individual advice and guidance sessions as well as deliver workshops and engagement activities. Originally from Norway, I have worked in the UK for about 20 years, predominantly in a guidance setting in FE and HE.
I want to contribute to Huddersfield University being a good place to work and provide a safe and supportive environment where staff can grow and explore, embracing diversity and respecting the individual.
My contact details are: firstname.lastname@example.org / Ext 3676. If you feel you could benefit from a discussion, please contact me to arrange an appointment.
Antony Osborne Profile
My name is Antony Osborne and I work as an Academic Librarian based in the Schwann Building where I have worked for 18 years. The basic tenet of working as a Librarian is to help people find the information they need. This principal extends out into the dignity at work role where I can provide a listening ear for a problem and signpost to where further help can be obtained. I have a particular interest in LBGTQ issues in the workplace. Outside work, I am a keen choral singer, husband and ailurophile (think cats!).
My contact email is email@example.com if you would like to arrange to meet to discuss any workplace related issues you may be facing.
