What is the session about?

To familiarise participants with the methods of communication within Brightspace and the benefits it can afford staff and students. To supply learners with the hands-on skills needed to effectively use these tools.

Following the session, participants will be able to:

  • state the benefits of the effective use of Brightspace communication tools
  • use the Email, Instant Messaging, Announcements and Staff Information tools in Brightspace effectively
  • understand how the automation of emails may reduce administrative overhead and improve student engagement
  • discover the benefits of personalised communications.
