More Communication Tools in Brightspace

Who should attend?

Academic staff and/or Support staff with a Learning Technology role.

Participants must have built their basic module content and be familiar with the basic functionality of Brightspace including the communication tools covered by the Introduction to Communication tools in Brightspace course.

To introduce participants to further communication tools in Brightspace including the Activity Feed, the chat, FAQ and Glossary tools and video notes.

This session will help participants to ...

Following the session, participants will be able to:

  • be aware of the range of communication tools in Brightspace including the Activity Feed, Chat tool, FAQ, Glossary and Video Notes tools
  • identify which tools will be appropriate to use in their context
  • practice the use of these tools in their sandbox modules
  • apply any appropriate communication tools to their current Brightspace modules.
