How To Super-set Your Goals - online
Who should attend?
This online session is for anyone interested in finding out more about successful goal setting.
What is the session about?
People and Organisational Development is very excited about a new session on goal setting, which is being introduced as part of its Personal Effectiveness and Performance Enhancement themes. Based on theory, but delivered using a framework of sporting examples, this session, delivered online, will be a heady mix of sporting examples, discussion, and the odd bit of theory thrown in. All examples used, come from a sporting and physical activity perspective, so an interest in this might be an advantage, but certainly not a pre-requisite. The session is being delivered Jermaine Akins and Helen Connor. It is a very practical session, which incorporates the principles of successful goal setting, which can be applied to both individuals and teams. There will be time set aside for participants to discuss goal setting. In addition there will also be advice offered on how to re-set your goals when they go astray. Helen and Jermaine are really looking forward to delivering the session.
This session will help participants to ...
- Identify different types of goals
- Plan, develop and set their own goals (post session)
- Discover what success means to them
- Get back on track when their goals become de-railed
