Important information for ALL staff organising an event on campus
The first thing you must do before publicising any event is to confirm your booking of the spaces you need for the event.
All events must be logged in the Campus Events Diary on SharePoint and information kept up to date as the planning process continues. This can be found here;
https://unishare.hud.ac.uk/uniwide/events/Lists/University%20Events/calendar.aspx
All external speakers to the University must be logged via the External Speaker log by the organiser of the event (this is a requirement placed on us by external regulation). This should be done no less than 2 weeks prior to the event. This can be accessed via the events diary on SharePoint or directly here;
https://www.hud.ac.uk/cgi-bin/external-speakers/log-speaker.pl
