Staff Learning Lunches
The Occupational Health Department host a series of health and wellbeing sessions for staff. There will be one or more sessions per month during term time, each on a different topic related to health and wellbeing. We have a variety of topics so hopefully there will be something for everyone.
August: Mental Toughness with Professor Peter Clough
Wednesday 19th August 12:30 - 13:30
The next staff learning lunch from the Occupational Health Department will be on Mental Toughness with Professor Peter Clough from the Department of Psychology.
Peter’s expertise is in mental toughness - both it’s measurement and development . Peter’s thirty years of research and applied psychology offer some solutions to dealing with these difficult times.
Professor Peter Clough has recently delivered online sessions on Mental Toughness for staff. Due to the popularity of these sessions, and the great feedback that we have received from staff who have attended, we are running this session again.
*Please note this session will be very similar in content to both previous Mental Toughness sessions for staff, so is best suited to those staff who did NOT attend either of the previous sessions.
