Staff Book Club
The Occupational Health Department have set up a regular book club for staff, reading and discussing a variety of books. The book club is open to all staff and meets every 4-6 weeks, and is currently held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
So that staff do not have to buy the book everytime, we will be selecting books from a list of books from Kirklees Library specially selected for Reading Groups. These books are all available as e-books from Kirklees Library, and are ‘simultaneous use’ titles, so there are no limits on the number of people who can borrow and download them at the same time. Staff are obviously also free to order themselves a hard copy, buy a copy for their kindle, borrow a copy from a friend or find a hard copy in their local library.
We last met in March 2021 and the next bok will be announced soon. You can either buy a copy of the book yourself, or we can send you instructions to download a free electronic copy.
If you are interested to join us for our next book, please email email@example.com
