As Lockdown restrictions eased a little, the Occupational Health Department ran their annual ‘Staff Step Challenge’ during September.
A total of 22 teams from across the University competed and a total of 99 members of staff took part.
We have counted up all the steps and can now reveal the results!

2nd Place: ‘Red Hot Chilli Steppers’ from the School of Human and Health Sciences with an average of 12803 steps per person per day
3rd Place: ‘The Grass Snappers’ from Estates with an average of 11814 steps per person per day
We can also reveal that the winner of the best team name is ‘We Get Locked Down, But We Get Up Again’, as voted for by the Occupational Health Team. Well done for your inventive name!
