Legal advice and security sensitive research
Postgraduate researchers do not have access to the University’s legal advice pages. Supervisors therefore have a responsibility to pass on key information around anything which may have legal implications. The legal briefings and guidance page may be especially useful here, and there are fact sheets on various aspects of research in which PGRs may become involved, including the Official Secrets Acts.
Note that any project which could be considered security sensitive must be reviewed by the relevant School Research Ethics and Integrity Committee.
