Webpage templates
Webpage templates are provided within T4 to help maintain a consistent look and feel for the website. There are two different types of webpage template; content templates and style templates, and these define the layout of the webpage in keeping with the University style.
Style templates
Style templates define the actual layout of the page. They allow you to set the layout of the page depending on the content you wish to include. You can choose from three different right hand content block layouts; a one, two or three column layout. If you have a content heavy page, you can use a single right hand column which allows more space in the middle for the copy.
As well as choosing the right hand column layout, you are also able to select whether you would like an in-page scroller to help navigate the content on the page.

Content templates
Content templates allow you to select the type of information you wish to display on a page including copy, video, calendar item, news item, video, photo galleries etc. You can place multiple content templates on a page allowing you to combine copy with video for example.
The content templates give you a set structure and layout for a page and ensure that the pages across every area of the University website remain consistent.
