Our Mission
Together, we will help you proactively increase your research income, reputation, & impact.
We take a leading role in supporting the University’s global research ambitions. Our team have the knowledge, experience and intelligence of the policy and funding landscape to support you throughout your entire research journey.
What we do (in a nutshell)
Planning
- Horizon scanning to identify & source funding, partner & collaboration opportunities.
- Help to forge strategic research partnerships & networks with industry & other HEI’s.
- Build communities of practice & cross disciplinary academic teams, to address key research & innovation challenges.
Provision
- Access to a pipeline of seed funding, from Collaborative Venture Funds (CVF) through to preparation for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP).
- Support developing quality funding proposals.
- Grant management, including compliance, reporting & audit support.
- Manage & maintain funder relationships.
Promoting
- We will invest in you to accelerate your research profile.
- We encourage & develop researchers, focusing on increasing the quality, standard & maximising the impact of research.
- We can help to commercialise your IP, create spin outs & develop your entrepreneurial skills & capacity.
