Driving student engagement and attainment through scaffolded assessment

Colleagues across the University are using scaffolded/low-stakes assessments to incentivise student engagement and improve attainment by identifying and rectifying knowledge and skill deficiencies at an early stage. This game-based session introduces assessment techniques which are established elsewhere in the University and challenges participants to apply them to their own discipline.
