The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) is the most prestigious individual award for teaching excellence in higher education.
The scheme celebrates and recognises individuals who have made an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education. In 2021, the NTFS surpassed 1,000 awardees in its 21-year history.
The University of Huddersfield has had many academics whose work has been recognised with this prestigious award.
Each year, up to three internal candidates from the university are selected to go forward to be considered for the highly prestigious National Teaching Fellow Scheme (NTFS).
An annual information event is held where the scheme is discussed with our existing NTFs. This is an opportunity to explore how to develop your teaching and learning profile and takes your through the application process.
Mentoring support can be offered if you are developing your teaching profile and are considering applying in the future.
