What is this course about?
SPARK Session 3 Advanced Manufacturing; Defence; Life Sciences; Professional, Business & Finance.We’re launching a series of internal workshops designed to spark fresh thinking, build new interdisciplinary connections, and generate ambitious ideas aligned with the Government’s Industrial Strategy (IS 8) priority sectors. Each sandpit will bring together colleagues from across the University to explore challenges, identify shared interests, and develop early stage concepts that could grow into future collaborations. Sessions are open to academics at all career stages, including ECRs and PGRs, from across the University. You are welcome to bring a colleague to help create new connections, all attendees should complete the POD booking form.
Details of any pre-course/programme requirements
Attendees will also be invited to take part in an online preparation workshop prior to each session. Further details and agenda will follow.If you’re interested in a particular theme but cannot attend that specific session, we encourage you to join another. Sessions are intentionally broad to support new relationships, unexpected avenues of exploration, and the development of fresh collaborative ideas.
