Early Career Researchers (ECRs) who are preparing to or have recently embarked on their first project as a Principal Investigator (PI) – or anyone who would like a ‘refresher’.
What is this course about?
This is the second session within the ‘First-time PI’ series and will equip you with the knowledge, understanding and confidence you need to effectively manage your research grant post-award. Please note this is session 2 within a series of 5 - please book your place for all five 'First-time PI' sessions. You will explore different aspects of grant spending, learn how to keep accurate financial records and find out how to work effectively with Research and Innovation to ensure funder reporting requirements are met. The session will also cover top tips for working with contracts and collaboration agreements, and how to help the legal team help you.Details of any pre-course/programme requirements
