What is this course about?
This session is part of the Research Funding series from RIKE and supports the development theme ‘your research practice’. The series will inform academic researchers about the various stages of the path to obtaining funding for their research and managing successful awards. Each session will focus on a different aspect of research funding and colleagues are welcome to book for a specific session, or the full series of five.
Session 1 covers the first step in the process: what to do with the research idea or question. It will provide guidance on initial research steps, contextualising your idea within broader priorities, exploring details for project formulation, creating a project synopsis, and seeking further advice.
