Using Pivot RP to find research funding opportunities

What is this course about?

This training session will support our researchers in using the Pivot RP Horizon Scanning software to help find research funding opportunities. This software is available to all researchers at our University and can make your horizon scanning activities more efficient and effective. RIKE Research Services are working on expanding the features and tools we use on the platform to enhance the funding search process.

The session is held in a PC lab, where you will be able to test out the database in your own time and ask questions about the funding landscape and horizon scanning process.

By the end of the course participants will have:
- Claimed their profile on Pivot RP and learned how to navigate the tool
- Learned how to search effectively using filters, categories, and profile matching
- Tested out the Pivot RP search tool to find new, relevant funding opportunities
