Early Career Researchers (ECRs) who are preparing to or have recently embarked on their first project as a Principal Investigator (PI) – or anyone who would like a ‘refresher’.
What is this course about?
This first session provides an introduction to the ‘First-time PI’ series, what’s involved and how it will support your development and effective transition into the Principal Investigator (PI) role. You will discover the ‘essentials’ of what you need to know as a PI (with signposting to relevant support from across Research and Innovation), alongside other researchers in a similar position to you. By attending this overview session, you will be well equipped to move through the rest of the ‘First-time PI’ series.Details of any pre-course/programme requirements
