This introductory training session is open for any members of staff to attend, and aims to provide an overview of what Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is, how it has developed since November 2022, what it's being used for currently, the potential benefits and risks/limitations/ethical concerns and what new developments are coming down the line in 2024 and beyond.
This session is an entry point for anyone who is less familiar with GenAI and wants to understand more about the technology and how it could impact their personal and professional lives.
Part of a two-session series – the 2nd session, Learning to Work with AI, will take place in February 2024 and details can be booked via the P&OD web pages.
