This training session, which follows on from the Jan 2024 session, "A Year of AI: Where are we now", is designed to help staff across the University to explore whether they can utilise Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) within their day-to-day work, and if so, what this could look like based on the AI tools available.
During the session, there will be a mixture of examples from industry (e.g. how AI is impacting sectors like Finance, Retail, Marketing, Healthcare etc.) and practical use cases of how AI tools can support with value creation and productivity/efficiency (e.g. creating content/images, editing information, transcription, generating social media posts, data analysis etc.), with a view to helping staff reflect on how AI may influence and intersect with their own careers moving forward.
[It is not necessary to have attended the A Year of AI: Where are we now? Session, which takes place in Jan 2024, in order to attend this session]
