What is this course about?
This course will cover the content outlined in the first and second learning outcomes: understanding the application of management and leadership theories and recognising the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to excel in management and leadership roles.
You will learn to compare management and leadership, describe the use of various leadership styles, and discuss how to apply competencies from the Huddersfield Leader Framework. Additionally, the course will cover effective leadership communication and explore approaches for building trust, support, and mutual respect within your team.

Please bring a copy of the assessment brief and the template to the meeting. It will be helpful if you have read some of the materials on Management Direct that cover tasks two and three of the assignment.
