Academic Misconduct: Best Practice Workshop

Who is this course aimed at?

Academic Staff

What is this course about?

This interactive workshop has been designed by the University’s Casework and Regulations Team (CART) to support colleagues involved in Academic Misconduct meetings at Stages 1 and 2. Together, we will explore best practices for conducting meetings, discuss interesting case studies and share strategies for handling challenging situations with confidence.

We will also examine emerging concerns, such as the alleged use of AI in academic work, and talk about how we can respond to these evolving challenges in a way that is both effective and aligned with our regulations.

Whether you are new to holding misconduct meetings or seeking to refine your approach, this session offers a collaborative space to learn, reflect, and exchange ideas.
