Women Advancing Together Session 2: Mental Strength

In collaboration with colleagues in P&OD, the School of Human and Health Sciences is delighted to offer a bespoke leadership programme for women. This session will explore practical mental strength strategies that can help leaders to thrive and maintain well-being during challenging times. Participants will gain an understanding of what mental strength entails and its significance in both personal and professional contexts. They will learn practical, evidence-based strategies to build and sustain mental strength.

Objectives

Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
  • Evaluate personal mental strength through self-assessment and identify areas for improvement.
  • Learn and apply practical strategies to build and maintain mental resilience.
  • Understand the concept of mental strength and its importance in personal and professional settings.
