ICDL is the International Certification of Digital Literacy, recognised by employers across the globe as the benchmark in digital and IT user skills. The aim of the programme is to ensure consistent levels of IT ability throughout the University. The ICDL is for any member of staff who wishes to gain recognition for their IT skills or enhance their career opportunities. We offer the 7 module ICDL core qualification. Each module consists of an online practice test and 45 minute exam which takes place on campus. In order to gain your ICDL certification you will need to successfully complete all 7 modules each with a pass mark of 75%.
This course is self study but you can ask for support from the Digital Skills team at any time.

The cost is currently £150 per candidate including registration, 7 online practice tests & and 7 exam credits, payable by cost centre.

Successful completers of the full course will will receive a printed certificate from the British Computer Society (BCS).
