What is this course about?

This course provides dedicated time and space for university staff to reflect on their careers and plan their future steps. Participants will have the opportunity to consider their career paths, achievements, and future goals. They will identify their skills, strengths, values, and motivators, gaining clarity on their personal and professional attributes. The course will also explore strategies to overcome career challenges and identify professional development opportunities for growth and advancement. A comprehensive Career Development Workbook will support and document reflections, plans, and progress throughout the course. By the end of the course, participants will understand their career aspirations and the steps needed to achieve them, as well as gain insights into the role personal values play in their career development and decision-making.
