What is this course about?
A multidisciplinary approach requires a combination of skills, including a willingness to learn about other disciplines and being open and creative. Learn the skills required for interdisciplinary working and the tools and techniques that support communication when thinking collectively about complex problems. Participants will identify the skills they can bring to multidisciplinary endeavours and learn practical skills they can apply to support communication, collaboration and conflict resolution.
This workshop is delivered by external training provider, Skillfluence, funded by the University’s UKRI Impact Acceleration Account Programme.
About the Facilitator(s)
Joanne is an industry and innovation specialist who develops and delivers training with Skillfluence. She has a passion for building connections, collaborations and using systematic innovation tools to bring ideas to life.
With 20 years’ experience in building and growing businesses and organisations and working at the interface between industry and academia, Joanne brings practical knowledge of working with industry, multidisciplinary collaboration, and driving innovation.
