What is this course about?
In today’s dynamic business landscape, effective performance management is crucial for organisational success and employee development. This course examines the key principles and practices of performance management, providing managers with essential skills to enhance employee engagement and productivity.Part one of a two-part course, this session explores the theory and practice of performance management and how getting this right will empower managers to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and performance.
Part two then goes on to look specifically at the University of Huddersfield’s tools and support available for managers and identifies best practice to follow when issues arise.
Participants explore techniques for setting clear expectations, delivering constructive feedback, and managing the development of teams and their individual needs and development requirements.
