Neurodiversity in the Workplace: A practical introduction

What is this course about?

An introduction to neurodiversity in a workplace setting. The course offers an interactive and discussion based approach to understanding the lived experiences of neurodivergent colleagues, what it means to be neurodivergent and the different forms it might take, and how to start building allyship and developing a more neuro-inclusive workplace.

Details of any pre-course/programme requirements

As an introduction, the course does not require any prior knowledge of neurodiversity and there are no pre-course or programme requirements.

Objectives

Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
  • Appreciating the lived experiences of neurodivergent colleagues.
  • Developing an understanding of key terms and the language of neurodiversity.
  • Recognising opportunities for neuro-inclusive allyship, practical support and accommodations.
