What is this course about?
This session is all about helping you craft a clear, compelling narrative to highlight the impact of your research. Whether you're preparing for REF or just looking to better communicate the value of your work, we’ll walk through how to effectively tell your story. You'll learn how to connect your research outcomes to real-world change and how to demonstrate that impact with strong evidence.
During the workshop, you’ll put this into practice by crafting your own impactful narrative based on your research.
This session will consist of a presentation followed by a workshop. This session will be delivered twice - once in person and once online.

Please bring along your previously developed Impact logic model plan.
If you are attending this session, you will have ideally also attended sessions 1, 2 &3.
Objectives
Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
participants will have a solid draft of an impact narrative, tailored to their own research.
You will leave with practical tips to refine and strengthen your narrative going forward.
You’ll understand the key elements of impactful storytelling, be familiar with previous REF case study structure, and feel more confident about how to present your work’s real-world value
