What is this course about?

When creating video content, it is essential to make it accessible to the widest possible audience. Learn how to write inclusive scripts, produce accessible video content, and discover tools for automatically generating captions. Understand the diverse needs of your viewers and ensure your content is inclusive. Gain the skills to create and edit accurate subtitles. Recognise the adjustments needed to produce accessible videos.

Objectives

Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
  • Acquire the knowledge to recognise and implement adjustments that enhance video accessibility.
  • Develop an understanding of users' needs and the experiences of students with disabilities.
  • Gain the ability to identify on-demand captioning software, create subtitles, and edit them to ensure accuracy.
