What is this course about?

To help accelerate your progress in achieving the next CMI Unit 'Personal and Professional Development for Strategic Leaders,' you will have the opportunity to explore current and relevant Personal and Professional Development Models and to develop your own reflective practice of Strategic Leadership. This process will enable you to assess your strengths and development needs as a leader and determine how to address them effectively.

You will learn to cultivate the right mindset for development and leadership, understanding how strategic leaders think. Additionally, you will express your purpose, values, and beliefs as integral parts of your leadership identity. Finally, you will identify the strategic skills necessary at this level, gaining insight into the actions and behaviours of effective strategic leaders.

Objectives

  • Articulate your leadership purpose, values, and beliefs, integrating them into your overall leadership approach.
  • Develop an understanding of the mindset required for strategic leadership and how to cultivate it.
  • Evaluate personal strengths and areas for development in leadership and create a plan to address these needs.
