What is this course about?

The QS World University Rankings are a widely used measure across Higher Education and one of our University of Huddersfield ‘Ground-breaking Research’ KPIs. This awareness session will build your understanding of QS and the role of reputation, exploring why QS is so important within the research ecosystem and beyond. An increased ranking can encourage international collaboration, boost industry partnerships, boost student recruitment and enhance funding opportunities. We will uncover the QS methodology, look at how to approach the process more strategically for greater impact, and encourage you to play your part as university staff in improving our ranking.

Objectives

Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
  • Consider your own input and actions to support QS (with signposting to further information and guidance).
  • Learn more about the QS methodology and how the process works.
  • Understand the difference that QS makes to the University of Huddersfield.
