What is this course about?

This course is designed to give participants the skills, and knowledge to undertake job evaluation inline with the Hay Evaluation procedures as used by the University. Participants will have opportunity to work with Human Resources on the methodology around job evaluation, it's purpose and recognise fairness throughout the process.

*There is no minimum grade required to be an evaluator, evaluators should have an understanding of university operations and be able to assess the criteria sensibly and objectively for a wide range of support roles at all levels.

Objectives

Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
  • Apply methodology to role accurately through guided activities and practical application
  • Interpret and apply the technical aspects of the Hay Guide Chart Profile Methodology
  • To understand the background and principles of the Hay Job Evaluation
