Research Funding Ready B): Building a research narrative and persuasive proposal writing

Early-mid career researchers who are starting their external funding journeys, or experienced researchers who want a refresher on funding processes and strategies.
What is this course about?
This session is part of the ‘Research Funding Ready’ series and will provide tools and tips on developing a proposal narrative.The session will cover basic application form structures and frequently asked questions, as well as discussing how you can answer specific questions based on the funder or your research area. Interactive workshop activities will also help you work through some dos and don’ts of proposal writing.
In the final 30 minutes, we’ll hold a clinic which gives you an optional opportunity to work through feedback on your previous submissions with a Research Development Manager, helping you to understand how you can rework your proposal to submit it again.

Objectives
