Showcasing your contributions with a Narrative CV

Researchers interested in exploring how a Narrative CV can support both funding applications and career development

What is this course about?

Narrative CVs provide a new way for researchers to demonstrate their contributions and accomplishments. This in-person workshop will introduce the Narrative CV format, encourage group exploration of the four core sections, provide an opportunity for you to ‘match’ some of your own activities as a researcher to these and offer some further tips and resource signposting to help you build a ‘master’ Narrative CV template for future use.

The session will also move on from writing a Narrative CV to exploring how it might be used as a tool to support your ongoing career development.

  • Consider how you might use a Narrative CV as a career development tool as well as to support funding applications.
  • Explore where your own activities and contributions fit.
  • Understand the purpose of Narrative CVs and explore the Narrative CV format .
