Learning Outcomes are an essential component of course design and form the basis of the curriculum of study, and assessment. They are one of the first things we have to think about when creating a new course or module, they are complex and have to take account of a wide range of factors including external quality assurance requirements. This course will look at the purpose of Learning Outcomes, how they relate to subject and level benchmarks, how they inform assessment strategies, and how to write them well.Details of any pre-course/programme requirements
