Who is this course aimed at?
This course is essential for academic staff working in Human & Health Sciences who are to become supervisors of postgraduate degrees and have not previously served in this capacity, either at Huddersfield or elsewhere.
What is this course about?
This is Part Two of a two-part programme and is School-based - tailored and conducted by colleagues within their respective Schools to address the specific contexts of PGRs in their disciplines. The course covers regulations, processes, and practicalities of managing supervision and supporting PGRs, offering ample opportunities for participant discussion and questions to the programme team.
