What is this course about?
An online training session aimed at staff who are new to the PAT (Personal Academic Tutor) role or for anybody who would like to refresh their skills and knowledge. It may also be useful for colleagues who need to advocate for the PAT role or who line manages or allocates PATs.The session will briefly cover some key concepts and policy ideas but will focus on practical tips for PATs in relation to University systems, signposting and wider support for the role.

Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
- Participants will be able to define the fundamental principles of Personal Academic Tutoring in the University of Huddersfield context.

- Participants will gain experience using University systems linked to the PAT role.
