Researcher Only Staff
What is this course about?
This session is part of the Research Funding series from RIKE and supports the development theme ‘your research practice’. Each session will focus on a different aspect of research funding and colleagues are welcome to book for a specific session, or the full series of five.
The series will inform academic researchers about the various stages of the path to obtaining funding for their research and managing successful awards.
This session focuses on the third stage of the journey - what’s involved in preparing the application for research funding.
It includes guidance on how to see the proposal from the reviewer’s point of view, how to interpret the funder guidelines, what to expect in the application form and how to respond, guidance on the funder and peer review process, and advice on who to contact for further questions.
