The Digital Purchasing team supplies the University with a standard model of PC with four different specifications (more information can be found on the Self-Service Portal (SSP)).
Desktop - Standard User Small Form Factor PC
Desktop - Power User - Tower Form Factor PC
The difference in the two PCs is that the Small Form Factor PC has an i5 processor whilst the Tower Form Factor PC has an i7 processor.
Each new PC from us comes with a new keyboard and mouse as standard but monitors will need to be purchased separately. We also make sure that our PCs come with a 5 year next-working-day onsite warranty as standard. If you require any new software to be installed before deployment then please tell us when ordering. This also applies to new software that has to be ordered in specially.
We also supply docking station, adapters and other accessories for your equipment.
We can also supply AIO PCs. These are self-contained units where the components are in the same unit (or chassis) as the display.
This allows greater space saving features, can look more appealing on desks and reduces some of the cable clutter.
AIO PCs from HP. It comes in our Standard & High Recommended specifications (like our standard PCs do).
AIO- HP 24` (either in power or standard user)
They also come with 5 year warranty as standard and a new keyboard & mouse. Please note that these are not stock devices and follow the usual 10-15 day build time from our suppliers.
We do also supply IMACs, on special request.
We supply HP and Iiyama standard monitors for use on our PCs.
They either come in 24` or 27`. They have a range of standard monitors, docking and docking conferencing monitors.

If you have any special requirements for displays such as for 4K & 5K resolution, visual disabilities, specialist graphic design, touchscreen or Apple's Thunderbolt displays then please get in touch with the IT Purchasing team directly & raise a ticket via the Self-Service Portal (SSP).
