Microsoft Skype for Business & Audio Conferencing

We utilise Microsoft Skype for Business (previously known as Lync) as part of the plan to increase the ease of use in communicating between staff here at the University.

Microsoft Skype for Business brings together the use of instant messaging regardless of where you are in the world, it allows you to share files (such as videos, pictures & documents), it also allows you to share your desktops so you can demonstrate new tools and technologies and allows staff to be assisted by others when in need.

Another big plus that's handy for staff is the ability to connect to your phone and combine it into Unified Messaging and use it for video conferencing in addition to being able to be used for audio conferencing with multiple colleagues across the University regardless of where you are in the world.
