The 2023/24 annual pay award has been agreed for an increase between 5% (minimum for annual salaries over £31,000) and 8% from 1 August 2023, this will be delivered in 2 stages.
From 1 February 2023, stage 1 will see an increase of either 2% or £1000 (whichever is greater) added to the University spine points.
From 1 August 2023, stage 2 will see the full increase added to the University spine points from 1 August 2022.
* This point is enhanced to the Real Living Wage value, see the Real Living Wage column for details of the increase from 1 November 2023.
