The Skilled Worker Visa (previously Tier 2) is a sponsored route and the University of Huddersfield is an A-rated sponsor.

To qualify for a Skilled Worker visa you will need to have a job offer from the University in an eligible role and meet all the other eligibility criteria for sponsorship.

As an A-rated sponsor, the University are able to certify maintenance for the main applicant only under the Skilled Worker route.  We do not certify maintenance for any dependents therefore, your dependents will need to evidence that they can support themselves whilst they are in the UK.

Our Skilled Worker Visa - Process Flowchart shows the University's internal process for this route.

Please refer to the Gov.uk website for further information on eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker Visa.
