We define educational gain as the experiences we provide that make a difference to our students’ lives, enriching and accelerating learning and personal development beyond what otherwise might be achieved.
The Teaching and Learning Conference 2024 is the place for University staff and invited guests to share the ways that you identify, explore and encourage educational gain within your practice.
The conference will include an introduction from Professor Jane Owen-Lynch setting out the University’s interpretation of educational gain and its importance to our student community. There will also be keynotes from invited speakers.
The call for proposals has now ended. The Conference Committee are currently reviewing the submissions and will announce the programme shortly.
Registration will open in the late Spring, when you will have the opportunity to book your place and make your workshop choices.
Our first post-lockdown conference theme was "Inspire", with a focus on innovation and excellence developed over the previous two years.
The theme for 2023 was "Moving Forward with Differential Attainment".
