Following the retirement of Andrew McConnell after over 20 years at the University, Lydia Devenny has joined us in the role of Director of Financial Services. Lydia joins Financial Services following previous roles as Finance Director and Deputy Chief Executive at Luminate Education Group. Lydia commented "it's great to be here, everyone has made me feel very welcome and I'm looking forward to working together to promote everything the University does".
The Financial Services Team continue to hold the Customer Service Excellence standard for 2022/23 following our assessment in summer 2022. The standard is awarded by the Centre for Assessment, who state 'Customer Service Excellence aims to bring professional, high-level customer service concepts into common currency with every customer service offering a unique improvement tool to help those delivering services put their customers at the core of what they do'.
