FINANCIAL SERVICES MISSION:
To support the recruitment and retention of students by maximising the investment of human and physical resources devoted to teaching and learning, so that the University's aims and objectives ("to offer high quality learning, enriched by research and engagement with our business and cultural communities, to all who can benefit") are achieved.
The Finance Department of the University aspires to acheive a high standard of customer satisfaction through its Customer Service Excellence award.

Financial Services Open Day 2019 a great success
April saw the annual Financial Services Open Day and the event was a great success. As well as stands from all the teams in Financial Services, external customers such as Barclaycard, Lyreco and Arnold Clark were all present. Staff from around the University had a chance to interact with the Financial Services team, ask questions, give feedback and also win prizes. Head of Procurement John Thompson commented "It's good to talk, communication with Team Huddersfield is what we are all about. Our customers are very important to our existence".
Financial Services continue to hold Customer Service Excellence Standard
The Financial Services Team continue to hold the Customer Service Excellence standard for 2018/19 following our assessment in summer 2018. The standard is awarded by the Centre for Assessment, who state 'Customer Service Excellence aims to bring professional, high-level customer service concepts into common currency with every customer service offering a unique improvement tool to help those delivering services put their customers at the core of what they do'.
